Back when I had first read ch1 I was under the impression that she was abandoned as a baby when her parents discovered how unique she was & decided that she wasn’t fit to be raised by them and left her at a orphanage. But the orphanage didn’t want her as well but was obligated to raise her to point but kicked her out as soon as they could I assume somewhere around the age of 6 or 7 years old and they had probably taught her some basic survival skills to ease their conscience’s about force a vulnerable little girl out into the world to fend for herself
But that idea I had about her back story changed when you showed us her mom but now that I think of it some of my original idea still seems like it could be valid. Because I still think that if Maria isn’t her blood mom then her original parents had abandoned her somewhere but Maria had found her & that her heart was big enough to overlook the uniqueness that offended everyone else & give her a home & all the love she needed. So when I saw Maria & baby fen fen, then fen fen & her 1st fight I had figured that there would be more time jumps, but I had expected you to go into more detail about the events leading to fen fen & Maria separation. It does make since that Maria did die & unfortunately leave fen fen alone in the world. That explains y fen fen was so vulnerable in vh1 as well as her feelings of what I assume was self-loathing when she 1st took took vix’s virginity as well as the intense feelings she had when she hurt vix. I see her as a person who is slow to trust & puts on a brave face to hide how vulnerable she really is. Trust & love for her is so rare & fleeting, to her its more precious any amount of wealth or even her own life
