you would hope, but in Fens memory playback (4-20apx) they are doing mercenary work. not sure if that means differently in other places, but i take that as a gun for hire, primarily using scare tactics to get what their employer wants or killing for the same outcome. so throwing a mark into slavery instead of killing them, and getting an added bonus from it could be seen as the lesser of two evils
Wait.. What if the girl out front isn’t a slave? She’s a red panda (which can often use Hadalen magic), has likely ‘been with them the longest’, and I have to assume that the slaver wouldn’t make the same mistake twice with regards to having a slave that could suddenly turn on them with magic.
What if she’s another of the slavers, pretending to be a slave in order to bait Lamb?
I dislike Discord for a number of reasons, and believe it should be abandoned for alternatives. Alternatives include Matrix (the standard client for it is known as ‘Element’, previously ‘Riot’) and Telegram (which I understand is not quite the same thing).
With her being with them the longest she could of became compliant with them and she could of been used as the lure to reel new ones in. Depending on how long its been she could be dealing with Stockholm syndrome, and could possibly be there to protect the entrance depending on how much magic she has learned. Though this might be reaching a little too far for a webcomic
I do a get the feeling that Morgan’s count is off on the number of slavers, from the way the “slave” outside is sitting, I think she might be a ringer.
That’s what I been saying. She’s way to hot headed once she’s angry she thinks with her fists fuels them with that anger as soon as she is angry. You can use people’s weakness against them. And this boss here knows it. Considering they have history. Now it’s a two way street you can use someone’s disadvantage or weaknesses to your advantage but make no mistake underestimate them and there weaknesses or disadvantage can become their strength. She seems like she going to become a killer or assassin or at first she seems it. However the fact she reached out to talk to fen means she’s not too far gone atleast not yet.
You play elder scrolls online me to. No one likes slavery in modern day they just call it human trafficking. Same thing still doesn’t make it right. When you think about it anybody that sell someone into slavery or tricks someone or whatever into slavery then that person is just as guilty. They played a part in it especially if they sell someone into it.

I have to wonder just about anything from murder and theft may or may not be legal slave trade is not legal but nothing says anything else is. Regardless fen is getting more mature just hope as long as she remembers those who added and sacrifice to help her when comes time to give the credit don’t take all.
I have to wonder she needs to be careful not to let it take over her if she becomes a dark killer and killing wrong people that’s where real trouble starts from bounty hunting to to people out for revenge etc.
Speaking of if fen murdered piris off scene doesn’t that make her wanted?
Anyway they both should be carful. I will say this fen has matured and is keeping a more level head over things more. So that’s good.
i wonder if Baren might end up being one of the brawlers and giving Fen a mind fuck by digging up her past
