I consider myself to be a very kind soul but the world has made me callous to certain things like slavers, ra****s, murderers, terrorists and etc. And if the individual is a level of bad I rather them dies then take the risk of them getting free
Right same and I get where your going with it. But if that was the case then killings would go through the roof. From murder to war crimes etc. Of course this is just a story not irl but you know what I mean.
She has her head for now but she’s on the edge of sanity and genocide but she reached out to fen so she still there well for now but need to be careful a mind is a powerful thing.

Is Hadalen essence flammable? Does Fen know how to fight against literal, actual fire? I can’t recall ever seeing that being tested, though presumably at least Mis has experimented with that in the past (using the special paint).
Its distressing how good the character designs on these (presumably) one off slaver characters are. Dee the Penguin is adorable, also morally bankrupt. I know nothing about that goat person other than they’re an irredeemable human trafficker, but if I didn’t know that I’d think they’re rad as hell.

I can see flame being launched at her and her using Hadalen essence to cause a wind to blow it back into the other’s face.
Solarin mages have been said to sometimes be able to turn their whole body into fire. Blowing the fire back at him would be a HUGE mistake.
