Observed activity of non-standard obelisk activation during primary run on saturday, activity engaged when logging in after disconnect, then deactivated once in wing. Did not initially consider implications, but upon further thought, a potential clue has been unveiled.
Experimental procedures must be explored: - Multiple commanders with objects on board sitting in wing, single commander checking obelisks outside of wing to register possible activation of non-standards. - Activate all beacons, possibly with commander sitting underneath each, in attempt to activate non-standard obelisks. - Collect and deploy various combination of objects around obelisks in attempt to scan for new entries.
Other things for consideration: Ruins pattern resembles potential map structure, keep an eye on exploration of this field by other commanders.
Reports will be filed once experimental procedures have been explored.
Addendum: Possible response to be had from airborne pilot with double sets of all objects in cargo. Must explore later, could reveal clue, perhaps even.. Solution.
Regardless, further exploration required.
Experiment results, galactic date 170119.
Experiment 1 found successful activation of multiple non-standard obelisks with the help of multiple commanders in area. Requires minimum personnel of three. Activation cycle randomizes upon login, requiring relog for further access to other obelisks. Only active scanner required to relog. Wing not required or desired.
Experiment 2 found successful trigger of scans for airborne commanders carrying two sets of objects in cargo. Possible downside: No way to determine which objects are causing response. Refer to existing lists for correct combinations.
Experiment 3 found negative results from deploying various combinations of objects around obelisks.
Experiment 4 found negative results from activating all four beacons.
Conclusion: Site must currently be solved using a minimum of three commanders, of which one handles scanning and two may float with cargo. Several lists of combinations are available, potential of 36-39 total scans from current site. Once total scans have been achieved, await further activity until location of sites alpha, gamma and, possibly, delta have been discovered.
Delta site might possibly be alien homeworld. Implications are *inhales* Exciting..
Addendum: Error in code prohibits activation of correct sequence when accessing with less than three commanders. Reason unknown, remember to blame Frontier Developments for poor implementation of technology.
