i am most likely in the minority here, but i actually really liked miss old bird here as the really one character in the story that just didn’t care about sex. it made her unique in a way that i think this scene sort of ruins. that aside, still a solid page, fer.

Yeah, best to make sure old bird fulfills her end of the deal before it’s too late. Mainly because when she gets absorbed in research, it can take a long time and might take all the spare time they have for this part of the trip. If that’s the case, she’d be able to put off this part of the contract until she returns for the next festival (and hope that they forget about this by that time).
